The Carnival Dream, Carnival Cruise Lines' largest ship has completed sea trials in the Adriatic Sea.
The 130,000 ton vessel with debut September 21st with a sailing from Europe. The Dream will hold 3,646 passengers and offer a series of Mediterranean cruises before repositioning to New York for eight day cruises November 15th and 23rd. The ship will then operate a special nine day cruise from its new home, Port Canaveral December 3rd before launching year round seven day Caribbean cruises starting December 12th.
The Carnival Dream will usher in an exciting new era of "Fun Ship" cruising and offer a host of innovations including Ocean Plaza, an indoor/outdoor cafe and entertainment venue, cantilevered whirlpools that extend out over the ship's sides and two bathroom staterooms that will be ideal for families.
